Craig,
I found your piece on Jericho Scott to be excellent. I am pretty stoked to see the honesty and research that went into what you shared with us, as a former little-leaguer and a student of literature. I came into this math-science-tech-orgasm school of UCSD as a Writing major and switched after a year of the University of California system screwing that up too. I have talked to Union Tribune staff who all reeked of that mechanized oratory, that utter inability to relate to anyone not paid to spin. I am more optimistic now of what I can hope to find buried beneath the sands of imbeciles with MacBooks. I enjoy reading your work; you have a pace thats familiar but I can’t get my finger on it. I just wanted to take a second to thank you for your honesty and your diligence to relating stories aptly and honestly to readers. I’m diggin it brotha.

Thanks for the kind words, Dylan!
read your article on the Yale/Harvard game, really interesting. I’m going to read more of your stuff.
